PROGRAM
DAY 1

TRANSFER MEDAN TO BUKIT LAWANG

Pick up by private car at Kuala Namu airport or your hotel in Medan city and transfer to BUKIT LAWANG. The drive will take around 4 hours.
A flight reaching Medan airport before 4pm is suggested.
Accommodation: Villa Paradise, Bukit Lawang
DAY 2

2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT JUNGLE TREK - Day 1

Head to the jungle after breakfast at 9am. 

It shouldn’t take long before your first encounters with wildlife including monkeys, gibbons, peacocks and orangutans! 

Your guide will ensure that you take regular breaks and provide fruits and lunch. 

You will arrive at the camp by the riverside at around 4pm. You can swim or just relax before having a nice dinner prepared in the ‘jungle kitchen’.

 Enjoy a good night rest surrounded by the amazing noises of the jungle. Mattresses with pillows and blankets provided for the camping.

DAY 3

2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT JUNGLE TREK - Day 2

For the second day of the trek, you can chose between a hike of 2-3 hours or simply rest in the camp before heading back to the village
by traditional rafting on the river. Arrival at around 2-3pm.
Accommodation: Villa Paradise, Bukit Lawang
DAY 4

DAY TRIP TO TANGKAHAN

Departure by car at 9.30am for Tangkahan. 2 hours drive through villages and palm oil plantations, arrival around lunchtime. 

Enjoy the unspoiled jungle and give bath to the elephants, an unforgettable experience. Return to Bukit Lawang, arrival around 7pm.

Optional: Stay in Tangkahan overnight + 20 EUROS / PERSON

DAY 5

TRANSFER BUKIT LAWANG TO MEDAN

Transfer back to Medan.
Drop off either at your chosen hotel in Medan city center or at Kuala Namu airport (flight departure time after 12pm if possible).
