ITINERARY - 9 days · 8 nights
Day 1 — Medan airport to Bukit Lawang. Night at guest house in Bukit Lawang.
Day 2 — 2 days jungle trek — day 1. Start at 9am, trek until mid-afternoon with regular breaks. Night camping in the rainforest.
Day 3 — 2 days jungle trek — day 2. Return to Bukit Lawang village by rafting on the river. Night at guest house in Bukit Lawang.
Day 4 — Day trip to Tangkahan for elephants washing (2 hours drive each way). Start at 10am from Bukit Lawang. Arrive for lunch and give bath to the elephants in the river at 3.30pm. Return to Bukit Lawang late afternoon. Night at guest house in Bukit Lawang.
Day 5 — Transfer to Medan airport for domestic flight to Banda Aceh (Lion Air). Transfer from Banda Aceh airport to ferry terminal. Ferry to Pulau Weh island. Transfer from ferry terminal to your resort on Summer Tiga beach. Night at resort on Pulau Weh.
Day 6 + 7 + 8 — Free days and nights on Pulau Weh island.
Day 9 — Ferry to Banda Aceh. Transfer to a hotel in Banda Aceh city or to the airport — END.
